Synopsis/Plot
Flood is a 2007 British disaster film directed by Tony Mitchell and starring Robert Carlyle, Jessalyn Gilsig, Tom Courtenay, and Joanne Whalley. The film follows a group of people who are trying to survive the aftermath of a devastating flood that has destroyed much of the United Kingdom.
The story begins with a severe storm that causes a huge tidal surge, resulting in a catastrophic flood that engulfs much of the country. The government is unable to respond to the disaster, leaving the survivors to fend for themselves. Among them are Adam (Robert Carlyle) and his wife Jody (Jessalyn Gilsig), a couple who are struggling to save their family from the rising waters.
They are joined by a group of other survivors, including a former soldier (Tom Courtenay) and a doctor (Joanne Whalley). Together, they must find a way to survive the flood and make it to safety. As the waters continue to rise, they must battle against the elements and the odds to survive.
