Synopsis/Plot
Flight of the Navigator is a 1986 science-fiction adventure film directed by Randal Kleiser and starring Joey Cramer as the young protagonist, David Freeman. The film follows David, a 12-year-old boy who is mysteriously transported eight years into the future, where he discovers that an alien spaceship, the “Navigator”, has been responsible for his disappearance. With the help of a friendly alien, Max, David embarks on a thrilling journey through time and space to discover the secrets of the Navigator and his own mysterious past.
The film begins in 1978, when David Freeman is mysteriously transported eight years into the future, only to find that he has not aged a day. He is soon taken to NASA, where scientists attempt to unlock the secrets of his disappearance. It is soon revealed that the Navigator, a mysterious alien spacecraft, is responsible for David’s journey. With the help of Max, a friendly alien, David embarks on a thrilling journey through time and space to uncover the secrets of the Navigator and his own mysterious past.
