Synopsis – What to Expect from “Fled”
Fled is an action-packed adventure film released in 1996. It follows the story of two convicts, Mace (Laurence Fishburne) and Piper (Stephen Baldwin), who are on the run after a daring prison escape.
Mace and Piper are two of the most notorious criminals in the country, and their escape from the high-security prison is a major news story. The authorities are determined to capture them, and they enlist the help of a bounty hunter, Joe (Will Patton), to track them down. As they flee across the country, Mace and Piper find themselves pursued by Joe and a team of FBI agents led by Agent Franklin (Bill Nunn).
The two fugitives manage to stay one step ahead of their pursuers, but their luck runs out when they are cornered in a small town in Florida. With no way out, Mace and Piper come up with a daring plan to escape. With the help of a local mechanic, they construct a makeshift vehicle out of a stolen truck and a hot-air balloon.
The two manage to make their getaway, but their troubles are far from over. Joe and the FBI agents are still on their trail, and they are determined to bring Mace and Piper to justice. As the chase continues, Mace and Piper find themselves in a race against time to make it to the Mexican border before they are caught.
