Synopsis/Plot
Fire in the Sky is a 1993 American science fiction horror film directed by Robert Lieberman and starring D.B. Sweeney, Craig Sheffer, Peter Berg, and Robert Patrick. The film is based on the 1975 Travis Walton abduction case in which Walton claims to have been abducted by a UFO.
The story follows Travis Walton (Sweeney), a logger in Arizona, and his co-workers Mike Rogers (Sheffer), David Whitlock (Berg), Allen (Patrick), and Bobby Cogdill (Scott MacDonald). One night, while driving home from work, the group spots a UFO in the sky. Travis gets out of the truck to investigate, and is suddenly struck by a beam of light. His co-workers panic and flee the scene, leaving Travis behind.
Five days later, Travis is found unconscious in a ravine and taken to the hospital. His co-workers are questioned by police and the media as to what happened to Travis, but they all deny witnessing anything unusual.
Travis is unable to remember anything about his abduction, and the mystery surrounding the incident grows. As the days pass, Travis starts to experience terrifying nightmares and flashbacks of his abduction, as well as strange physical
