Synopsis/Plot
Final Destination is a 2000 horror film directed by James Wong and starring Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith, and Tony Todd. The movie follows a group of high school students who cheat death after one of them has a premonition of a fatal plane crash. After surviving the crash, the group is stalked by death, which attempts to kill them in a variety of ways.
The story begins with a group of high school students on a trip to Paris. Alex (Devon Sawa) has a premonition of the plane exploding in midair, causing a panic among the passengers. He manages to convince the other passengers to evacuate the plane, which explodes shortly after they do. Alex and his friends areshocked to find themselves alive, but quickly realize that death is still after them. As they try to outrun death, they discover that they can only cheat it for so long. They soon find themselves in a desperate race against time as they attempt to figure out how to permanently avoid death. As they struggle to survive, they must also grapple with the moral implications of their actions and the realization that death may be inevitable.
