Synopsis – What to Expect from “Fierce Creatures”
Fierce Creatures is a 1997 British comedy film starring John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline, and Michael Palin. The film follows the misadventures of two employees of a British zoo, Rollo Lee (John Cleese) and Willa Weston (Jamie Lee Curtis), as they attempt to save the zoo from a hostile takeover by a ruthless business tycoon, Rod McCain (Kevin Kline).
Rollo and Willa are tasked with the job of making the zoo more profitable, but they quickly discover that the only way to do this is to make the zoo more “fierce” by introducing dangerous animals. However, the zoo’s head zookeeper, Vince McCain (Michael Palin), is strongly opposed to the idea, believing that the animals should be treated with respect.
Rollo and Willa must battle Rod’s corporate tactics, Vince’s opposition, and the dangerous animals they introduce in order to save the zoo. Along the way, they discover a secret about Rod’s past that could save the zoo, but it might also be too late.
Fierce Creatures is a hilarious and heartwarming adventure that follows Rollo, Willa, and Vince as they fight to save the zoo and prove that even the most “fierce” creatures can have a heart.
