Synopsis/Plot
Felony is an Australian crime drama film directed by Matthew Saville and written by Joel Edgerton. It stars an ensemble cast including Joel Edgerton, Jai Courtney, Tom Wilkinson, Melissa George, and Sarah Roberts.
The film follows three police officers who become entangled in a complex web of corruption and lies after a fateful night. Detective Malcolm Toohey (Joel Edgerton) is a decorated cop who is struggling to cope with the death of his young son. He is assigned to investigate the death of a young man who was killed in a hit-and-run. His investigation leads him to suspect that his colleague, Detective Carl Summer (Jai Courtney), was involved in the accident.
Meanwhile, Detective Jim Melic (Tom Wilkinson) is trying to find a missing woman who is connected to the same case. He soon finds himself in a precarious situation when he discovers that the woman is connected to a powerful crime syndicate.
The three officers must now face the consequences of their actions and confront the truth. As the investigation continues, secrets are revealed and the stakes become higher.
