Synopsis/Plot

Fantasy Island is a 2020 American supernatural horror film directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, and Michael Rooker. The film is based on the ABC television series of the same name, created by Gene Levitt.

The film follows a group of contest winners who arrive at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. Unbeknownst to them, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke, the owner of the resort, has the power to make their secret desires come true. However, the guests soon realize that the fantasies they experience are not what they expected and that they must solve the island’s mysteryin order to escape with their lives. As they explore the island, they discover that Mr. Roarke’s power comes with a deadly price and that the island is home to a dark force that will stop at nothing to protect its secrets. With time running out, the guests must work together to uncover the truth and escape the island before it’s too late.
