Synopsis/Plot
Fallen is a supernatural thriller film released in 1998. It stars Denzel Washington as Detective John Hobbes, a Philadelphia police officer who is tasked with investigating a series of horrific murders that appear to be linked to a mysterious man named Lucinda Embry (Embeth Davidtz). As Hobbes delves deeper into the case, he discovers that Lucinda is a fallen angel who has been sent to Earth to bring about Armageddon.
Hobbes must battle both the forces of evil and his own inner demons as he attempts to unravel the mystery and prevent the end of the world. He is assisted by a mysterious woman named Gretta Milano (John Goodman) and a young girl named Mona (Elisabeth Shue). As the body count rises, Hobbes discovers the shocking truth behind Lucinda’s mission and must make a decision that could decide the fate of mankind.
