Synopsis/Plot
Fallen is a 1998 supernatural thriller directed by Gregory Hoblit and starring Denzel Washington, John Goodman, Donald Sutherland, and Embeth Davidtz. The film follows Detective John Hobbes, played by Washington, as he investigates a series of mysterious and brutal murders that seem to be connected to a mysterious figure known only as “The Fallen”. As Hobbes delves further into the case, he begins to uncover a complex web of dark secrets and supernatural forces that will challenge his beliefs and put his own life in danger.
The film begins with Hobbes and his partner, Jonesy, investigating a series of ritualistic murders. As they investigate further, they discover that the murders are connected to a mysterious figure, The Fallen, who appears to be able to possess people and use them to commit the murders. As Hobbes and Jonesy investigate further, they come to realize that The Fallen is actually an angel who has been cast out of Heaven and is now seeking revenge on mankind.
Hobbes and Jonesy enlist the help of a mysterious professor, played by Donald Sutherland, to help them understand the supernatural forces at work. As they uncover more about The Fallen and the murders, they realize that the angel is actually seeking
