Synopsis/Plot
Exorcist II: The Heretic is a 1977 horror film directed by John Boorman. It is the sequel to the 1973 classic horror film The Exorcist. The film stars Linda Blair, Richard Burton, Louise Fletcher, Max von Sydow and Kitty Winn.
The film follows the story of Regan MacNeil (Blair), the girl from the first film who is now a teenager. She is struggling to cope with the memories of the terrifying events of the first film and is now living in a convent. She is being treated by a psychiatrist, Dr. Gene Tuskin (Fletcher). Meanwhile, Father Philip Lamont (Burton) is sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of Father Merrin (von Sydow) from the first film. He soon discovers that the demon Pazuzu is still alive and is wreaking havoc on the world.
Father Lamont teams up with Regan and Dr. Tuskin to confront Pazuzu and stop his evil plans. Along the way they must battle the forces of evil and discover the truth behind the demon’s past.
The film is filled with intense horror scenes, special effects and suspense. It is an intense and thrilling experience
