Synopsis/Plot
Evil Angels is an Australian drama film released in 1988. It is based on the true story of the Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton case. The film follows Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton (Meryl Streep), a young mother who is accused of killing her nine-week-old daughter, Azaria, while on a camping trip in the Australian Outback. Despite her adamant claims that a wild dingo had taken the baby, she is convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
The film follows the Chamberlain-Creighton family as they fight to prove their innocence and clear their name. With the help of their lawyer, John Bryson (Sam Neill), they try to uncover the truth about what happened to Azaria.
