Everyone’s Hero is an animated family comedy-adventure film about a young boy named Yankee Irving and his quest to save Babe Ruth’s stolen bat. The film follows Yankee as he embarks on a cross-country journey to return the bat to its rightful owner. Along the way, he meets a variety of interesting characters and learns valuable lessons about the importance of friendship, loyalty, and courage.
The film is set in the 1930s, during the Great Depression. Yankee is a 10-year-old boy living in Brooklyn with his parents. One day, his father brings home a talking baseball bat that once belonged to the legendary Babe Ruth. Yankee is overjoyed and quickly names it “Fancy”. But his joy turns to despair when the bat is stolen by a mysterious thief.
Determined to get Fancy back, Yankee sets off on an incredible adventure. He teams up with a scrappy baseball-playing dog named Screwie and the two of them travel across the country in search of the thief. Along the way, they encounter a variety of colorful characters, including a vaudeville troupe, a pair of bumbling criminals, and a mysterious old man.
