Synopsis – What to Expect from “Evening”
‘Evening’ is a romantic drama set in the 1950s that follows the story of Ann Grant, a woman who is on the brink of death and reflecting on the events of her life that led her to this point.
When Ann was younger, she had a passionate love affair with Harris Arden, a man she met at a party. Despite her family’s disapproval, Ann and Harris decided to marry and start a life together. However, their happiness was short-lived when Harris was called away to fight in the Korean War.
Devastated, Ann turned to her old friend Lila, who had also been in love with Harris. Lila and Ann’s relationship quickly blossomed into a deep friendship, and the two women found comfort in each other’s company.
Years later, Harris returns home and Ann is faced with a difficult decision. Should she stay with Harris, the man she loves, or follow her heart and pursue a relationship with Lila?
The story follows Ann as she grapples with her feelings and the consequences of her choices, as well as the impact of her decisions on her family and friends. Ultimately, she must decide which path she will take and how she will find peace and happiness in the evening of her life.
