Synopsis/Plot

Epic is a 2013 computer-animated fantasy-adventure film directed by Chris Wedge and produced by Blue Sky Studios, based on William Joyce’s children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. The film stars the voices of Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Aziz Ansari, and Beyoncé Knowles.

The story follows a teenage girl named Mary Katherine (Amanda Seyfried), or M.K., who is transported to a secret universe that is home to an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who protect nature, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it. In the world, M.K. meets a group of tiny people called the Leafmen, led by their General Ronin (Colin Farrell), who are trying to protect their world and its inhabitants from the evil Boggans and their leader Mandrake (Christoph Waltz). With the help of a wise and ancient caterpillar (Steven Tyler), M.K. and the Leafmen set out on an epic quest to save their world and restore balance. Along the way, M.
