Synopsis/Plot
Entrapment is a 1999 American heist film starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The film follows a master thief, Robert “Mac” MacDougal (Connery), who is recruited by a mysterious insurance investigator named Virginia “Gin” Baker (Zeta-Jones) to help her steal a valuable ancient Chinese artifact from a high-tech security facility.
The two must use their wits and skills to outsmart the security system and get away with the loot. As they race against time and the authorities, they also find themselves unexpectedly drawn to each other. In the process, they must decide if they can trust each other enough to pull off the heist and if their feelings for each other are real or just a way to get what they want.
Entrapment is an action-packed thriller that combines elements of romance, comedy, and suspense. The movie features a stellar cast, including Sean Connery, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Will Patton.
