Synopsis/Plot
Enola Holmes is a 2020 mystery film based on the book series of the same name by Nancy Springer. The film follows the story of Enola Holmes, the much younger sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Enola is a free-spirited young girl who is determined to find her missing mother. On her 16th birthday, she wakes up to find that her mother has vanished and her brothers, Mycroft and Sherlock, have come to take her away. Enola escapes her brothers and sets off on a journey to find her mother while also trying to stay one step ahead of her brothers and the law.
Along the way, Enola discovers a dangerous conspiracy involving a young runaway Lord Tewksbury, and she must use her wits and skills to save him and uncover the truth behind her mother’s disappearance. With the help of her new friend, Viscount Tewksbury, Enola discovers a world of secrets and lies, and the two of them must work together to unravel the mystery.
