Synopsis/Plot
Empire State is a 2013 action thriller starring Liam Hemsworth and Dwayne Johnson. The movie is set in New York City and follows two childhood friends, Chris Potamitis (Hemsworth) and Eddie (Johnson). Chris is a small-time criminal who dreams of making it big. When he is offered a job by his old friend to rob an armored car, he jumps at the chance. However, the job goes wrong and Chris finds himself on the run from the police and a powerful mob boss. With the help of Eddie, Chris must try to stay one step ahead of the law and the mob while attempting to make his fortune.
