Synopsis – What to Expect from “Earth Girls Are Easy”
Earth Girls Are Easy is a 1988 romantic comedy film directed by Julien Temple and starring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans, Jim Carrey, and Julie Brown.
The film follows Valerie (Geena Davis), a valley girl living in California, who finds herself in an unlikely love triangle when three furry aliens, Mac (Jeff Goldblum), Wiploc (Damon Wayans), and Zeebo (Jim Carrey), crash land in her swimming pool. With the help of her manicurist friend Candy (Julie Brown), Valerie sets out to help the aliens blend in with human society, while trying to decide which of the three she loves the most.
Valerie quickly falls in love with Mac, but is torn between him and Wiploc, who is more outgoing and confident. Meanwhile, Zeebo is content to stay in the background, but still tries to make Valerie happy. With the help of Candy, Valerie comes up with a plan to help the aliens blend in with human society, which includes giving them makeovers and teaching them English.
Valerie and the aliens eventually become a part of the local community, and Valerie’s love triangle becomes more complicated as she falls for both Mac and Wiploc.
