Synopsis – What to Expect from “Duck Duck Goose”
Duck Duck Goose is a 2018 animated comedy film directed by Christopher Jenkins. It follows the story of a high-flying bachelor goose named Peng (voiced by Jim Gaffigan) who is content with his carefree life. But when he accidentally injures a flock of ducklings, he is forced to take responsibility and care for them on their long journey south.
The flock is led by a headstrong duck named Chi (voiced by Zendaya), who is determined to find her way home to her family. Along the way, they meet a rag-tag group of animals, including a wise-cracking cat, a lovable but neurotic turtle, and a hyperactive rabbit, all of whom help Peng and Chi on their journey.
As they travel south, Peng and Chi must overcome their differences and learn to work together to protect the ducklings from the dangers of the wild. Along the way, they must also confront their own fears and insecurities as they learn to trust and rely on each other.
Filled with humor, adventure, and heart, Duck Duck Goose is a wild ride that teaches the importance of friendship, family, and courage. In the end, Peng and Chi learn that the greatest adventure is the one they take together.
