Synopsis/Plot
Driven is a 2001 action-drama film directed by Renny Harlin and starring Sylvester Stallone, Burt Reynolds, and Kip Pardue. The film follows the story of Jimmy Bly, a young up-and-coming race car driver who is struggling to make a name for himself in the world of professional racing. After the death of his mentor, Carl Henry, Jimmy is determined to win the championship and prove himself to the world.
Jimmy enlists the help of veteran driver Joe Tanto, who takes him under his wing and helps him prepare for the race. As the two get to know each other, they form a close bond and Joe becomes a father figure to Jimmy. As the race approaches, Jimmy finds himself in a rivalry with his former teammate, Beau Brandenburg. Beau is determined to win at any cost and will stop at nothing to make sure he does.
