Synopsis/Plot
Drive Me Crazy is a 1999 teen romantic comedy starring Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier. The film follows Nicole Maris (Hart) and Chase Hammond (Grenier), two high school seniors who are next-door neighbors and lifelong best friends. When Nicole’s boyfriend dumps her, she comes up with a plan to make him jealous by pretending to date Chase. As the two go through with the plan, they start to develop real feelings for each other and find themselves in the middle of a romantic comedy.
The film follows the two teenagers as they try to keep up the ruse and navigate their own personal issues. Along the way, they enlist the help of their friends, family, and classmates to make the plan work. Along the way, they learn some important lessons about friendship, love, and relationships.
