Synopsis/Plot
Dolphin Tale 2 is the sequel to the 2011 family drama Dolphin Tale. The movie follows the continuing story of Winter, a bottlenose dolphin who was rescued off the coast of Florida after losing her tail to a crab trap. With the help of a prosthetic tail, she is able to swim and live as a normal dolphin.
The movie picks up a few years after the events of the first movie. Winter is now a beloved member of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and she is living happily with her adopted father, Panama. However, when Panama dies, Winter is left alone and the aquarium is forced to find her a new companion.
Meanwhile, the aquarium is facing financial difficulties and is in danger of closing down. The staff must find a way to raise money and save the aquarium. They come up with the idea of building a new dolphin habitat and bringing in a new dolphin to be Winter’s companion.
The movie follows the journey of the aquarium staff as they search for a new dolphin, and also follows Winter as she adjusts to her new companion and learns to trust again. Along the way, the movie shows the power of friendship and family, and how the human spirit can overcome any
