Synopsis/Plot
Disclosure is a 1994 American science fiction thriller film directed by Barry Levinson and starring Michael Douglas, Demi Moore, and Donald Sutherland. The film is based on Michael Crichton’s novel of the same name.
The story follows Tom Sanders (Douglas), a computer expert working for a large software company. He is promoted to a higher position and is in line to become the company’s new CEO, but is passed over in favor of Meredith Johnson (Moore), his former lover. As a result, Sanders sues the company for sexual harassment.
The film follows Sanders as he discovers that the company is using a new virtual reality technology to manipulate its employees and is engaged in a conspiracy to cover up the truth. He must fight against the powerful forces of the company in order to expose the truth and clear his name.
The film features an all-star cast, including Dylan Baker, Roma Maffia, Caroline Goodall, and Dennis Miller. It also features a powerful score composed by Hans Zimmer.
