Synopsis/Plot
Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights is a 2004 romantic drama set in 1958 Cuba, just before the Cuban Revolution. The film follows Katey Miller (Romola Garai), a young American woman who moves to Havana with her family. She meets and falls in love with Javier Suárez (Diego Luna), a passionate, rebellious Cuban dancer. Together, they defy the odds and defy the social norms of the time by training to compete in the ultimate dance competition. Along the way, they learn to trust each other and discover a love that transcends social boundaries.
The film features a variety of Latin-inspired dance styles, including the cha-cha, mambo, and salsa.
