Synopsis – What to Expect from “Dinner at Lindy’s”
Dinner at Lindy’s is a 2022 romantic comedy set in the quaint town of Lindy’s, Georgia. The film follows the lives of two friends, Nate and Savannah, who are both struggling to make ends meet. Nate is a struggling artist who has been living off of odd jobs and the occasional gig at the local bar, while Savannah is a single mom trying to make ends meet while raising her daughter, Lila.
One night, while out at the bar, Nate and Savannah run into an old friend, Lindy, who invites them to her restaurant for dinner. Despite their initial reservations, Nate and Savannah accept the invitation and are welcomed into Lindy’s home with open arms.
At dinner, Nate and Savannah learn that Lindy is the owner of a successful restaurant in town. She offers them the opportunity to work at her restaurant and they gladly accept.
As Nate and Savannah start to work at the restaurant, they quickly become close friends with the other staff members and begin to make a real difference in the restaurant’s success. The two also find themselves becoming romantically involved, and begin to fall in love.
However, their relationship is put to the test when Nate’s ex-girlfriend, Sarah, shows up in town. Sarah is determined to win back Nate’s affections, and will do anything to make it happen.
