Synopsis/Plot
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules is a 2011 American family comedy film directed by David Bowers and written by Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah. It is the sequel to the 2010 film Diary of a Wimpy Kid and stars Zachary Gordon, Devon Bostick, Rachael Harris, Robert Capron, Peyton List, Karan Brar, and Steve Zahn.
The film follows the misadventures of Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) and his older brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) as they navigate their way through middle school. After a rough start to the year, Greg and Rodrick must find a way to get along in order to survive the year.
The film follows the Heffley family as they adjust to their new life in a new town. Greg and Rodrick must learn to work together in order to get through the school year, while dealing with their parents’ expectations and the challenges of middle school.
