Synopsis/Plot
Detroit Rock City is a 1999 American comedy film directed by Adam Rifkin and written by Carl V. Dupré. The film stars Edward Furlong, Giuseppe Andrews, James DeBello, and Sam Huntington as four teenage boys who try to attend a Kiss concert in Detroit in 1978.
The film follows four teenage boys, Hawk, Lex, Trip, and Jam, who are huge fans of the rock band Kiss. When they find out that the band is going to perform in Detroit, they are determined to go to the concert. The only problem is that they don’t have enough money to buy tickets. After numerous failed attempts to get the money, they decide to steal it.
The boys then embark on a wild and dangerous adventure to get to the concert. Along the way, they face off against a rival gang, a religious cult, and their own parents. With the help of a mysterious stranger, they eventually make it to the concert, only to discover that their tickets are fake.
