Synopsis – What to Expect from “Den Brother”
Den Brother is a comedy-drama released in 2010. It follows the story of Alex Pearson, a teenage hockey star who is forced to take on the role of den leader of his younger sister’s scouting group, the Dandelions. Alex is not thrilled with the idea and initially treats the group with disdain, but soon finds himself bonding with the girls and learning valuable lessons about responsibility and leadership.
The movie begins with Alex being forced to take on the role of den leader and reluctantly agreeing to do it. His sister, Gretchen, is excited to have her brother as her leader and the other girls are eager to have a male leader. Alex struggles to balance his own hockey training with his den leader duties, and his sister and the other girls are not always helpful. He also has to deal with his rival, the leader of the rival scouting group, the Wolves.
Alex’s hockey team is also struggling to make it to the playoffs and his coach is putting pressure on him to perform. As Alex struggles to balance his hockey and den leader duties, he finds himself bonding with the girls and learning valuable lessons about responsibility and leadership. He also learns to appreciate his sister and the other girls in the den.
