Synopsis/Plot
Delivery Man is a 2013 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Ken Scott and starring Vince Vaughn. The film is a remake of Scott’s 2011 French-Canadian film, Starbuck.
The story follows David Wozniak, a middle-aged lovable but perpetual screw-up who is shocked to learn that he has fathered 533 children through sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. As David struggles with his newfound fatherhood, he embarks on a journey that leads him to his purpose in life.
David is a slacker who works as a delivery man for his family’s meat business. He is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Emma, and is avoiding the responsibility of marriage and children. When David discovers that he has fathered 533 children, he is overwhelmed and decides to keep his identity a secret from all of them.
With the help of a lawyer, David begins to track down the children he has fathered. As he meets them, he learns that he has fathered a wide variety of children, from a successful lawyer to a homeless drug addict. Through his interactions with his newfound children, David learns to become a better person and gain a better understanding
