Synopsis/Plot
Deep is a science fiction film directed by David S. Goyer, released in 2017. The movie follows the story of a group of scientists who have been sent to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in an experimental submarine to explore the depths of the ocean.
The team, led by Captain Will Steward (Vin Diesel) and his co-pilot, Dr. Larysa Watson (Olga Kurylenko), is tasked with exploring the depths of the ocean and discovering what lies beneath the surface. Along the way, the team encounters strange creatures, mysterious ruins, and dangerous obstacles, as they uncover the secrets of the deep.
The team soon discovers that the Mariana Trench is inhabited by a race of human-like creatures who have been living in the depths of the ocean for centuries. The creatures, known as the “Deep Ones”, are the guardians of a powerful and mysterious energy source known as “The Source”. As the team continues their exploration, they soon discover that the Deep Ones are in danger of being destroyed by a powerful force from the surface.
