Synopsis/Plot
Days of Thunder is an action-packed racing movie starring Tom Cruise as Cole Trickle, a rookie race car driver. Cole is a hot-headed young driver with a need for speed and a passion for winning. He is determined to make it to the top of the racing world, but finds himself in a rivalry with the veteran driver Rowdy Burns (Michael Rooker).
The story follows Cole as he learns the ropes of NASCAR racing, from the intense competition to the dangerous high-speed turns. With the help of his mentor Harry Hogge (Robert Duvall), Cole is determined to prove himself and become a champion.
The movie features some of the biggest names in NASCAR racing, including Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace, and Dale Earnhardt. It also features some of the most spectacular racing scenes ever filmed. The action is non-stop, with spectacular crashes, daring maneuvers, and intense rivalries.
