Synopsis/Plot
Daylight is a 1996 American disaster thriller film directed by Rob Cohen and starring Sylvester Stallone, Amy Brenneman, Viggo Mortensen, Dan Hedaya, and Vanessa Bell Calloway. The film follows a group of people who become trapped inside a New York City tunnel after a massive explosion causes it to collapse.
The film begins with a group of people traveling through the Holland Tunnel, a tunnel connecting New York City and New Jersey. As they pass through, an explosion occurs, causing the tunnel to collapse and trapping the group inside. With no way out, the survivors must rely on each other to survive.
Enter Kit Latura (Sylvester Stallone), a former emergency medical technician who is now a disgraced firefighter. He is called in to help with the rescue effort, and soon discovers that the tunnel is filled with toxic gas, making it difficult to breathe. With no other choice, Kit and the survivors must make their way through the tunnel, hoping to find a way out.
