Synopsis – What to Expect from “David and Goliath”
David and Goliath is a 2016 action-adventure film directed by Tim Chey and starring Miles Sloman, Jack Huston, and Billy Zane. The movie follows the story of David, a young man who is chosen by God to save the Israelites from the powerful Philistine army.
The movie opens with David, a humble shepherd, tending to his flock in the fields of Bethlehem. One day, the prophet Samuel arrives and anoints David as the future king of Israel. Despite his youth and inexperience, David is determined to fulfill his destiny.
Meanwhile, the Philistine army is led by the mighty Goliath, a giant warrior who is feared by all. When Goliath challenges the Israelites to a fight, the Israelites are terrified. However, David steps forward and volunteers to fight Goliath.
David is mocked by Goliath and the Philistine army, but he remains determined to fight. He goes into battle armed only with a sling and five stones. Despite the odds, David manages to defeat Goliath with a single shot from his sling.
The Israelites are overjoyed as David’s victory brings them freedom from the oppressive Philistine rule. David is celebrated as a hero and his legend lives on.
