Dave Chappelle’s Block Party is a 2005 American documentary comedy film directed by Michel Gondry. The film documents Dave Chappelle’s hosting of a free concert in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, on September 18, 2004.
The film follows Dave Chappelle as he visits various Brooklyn neighborhoods and talks to the locals about their lives and their experiences. He then invites them to attend a free concert he is throwing in the neighborhood.
