Synopsis/Plot
Curly Sue is a heartwarming 1991 romantic comedy-drama starring Jim Belushi and Kelly Lynch. The movie follows the story of a homeless father and daughter, Bill and Curly Sue, as they attempt to con their way into the lives of a successful Chicago lawyer, Grey Ellison.
Bill and Curly Sue are two streetwise con artists who make their living by finding vulnerable people to con. After Bill and Curly Sue’s latest victim, Grey Ellison, refuses to give them money for a meal, Bill and Curly Sue decide to stay with Grey for a few days in exchange for doing chores around her home.
At first, Grey is resistant to the idea of having Bill and Curly Sue in her home, but as time passes, she begins to warm up to them and discovers that Curly Sue is a bright and precocious young girl. Grey also begins to develop feelings for Bill, who is struggling to provide for his daughter and make ends meet.
