Synopsis/Plot
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny is a 2016 martial arts fantasy film directed by Yuen Woo-ping and based on the novel Iron Knight, Silver Vase by Wang Dulu. The film is a sequel to the 2000 film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and stars Donnie Yen, Michelle Yeoh, Harry Shum Jr., Jason Scott Lee, Roger Yuan, and Yu Xing.
The story follows the adventures of Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh), a legendary warrior and master swordsman, as she attempts to protect the legendary Green Destiny sword from a ruthless warlord. With the help of Silent Wolf (Donnie Yen), a mysterious warrior, and the reclusive Snow Vase (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), they must face off against the warlord’s formidable army.
The film showcases a variety of martial arts styles, including wushu, tai chi, and kung fu. The action sequences are beautifully choreographed and the fight scenes are intense and thrilling.
