Synopsis/Plot
Crash is a 2004 drama film directed by Paul Haggis and starring an ensemble cast including Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Thandie Newton, Ryan Phillippe, and Larenz Tate.
The film follows the lives of several characters from different backgrounds whose lives intersect in the aftermath of a car accident. It examines the complexities of racial, economic, and social issues in Los Angeles.
The story focuses on the relationships between a district attorney and his wife, two police detectives, a successful television director and his wife, a Persian store owner, two carjackers, and a Hispanic locksmith.
The story begins with a minor car accident involving Graham, a detective, and Cameron, a district attorney. Cameron’s wife Christine is furious with Graham, and the two begin arguing. This leads to a heated exchange between the two, and Cameron’s wife is left feeling humiliated.
Meanwhile, two carjackers, Anthony and Peter, are on the hunt for their next victim. They find their target in the form of a wealthy couple, Rick and Jean. The carjackers take the couple hostage and drive off
