Synopsis/Plot
Cosmopolis is a 2012 science fiction drama film directed by David Cronenberg and starring Robert Pattinson, Paul Giamatti, Samantha Morton, and Juliette Binoche. The film follows Eric Packer (Pattinson), a 28-year-old billionaire asset manager, as he travels across Manhattan in his luxurious stretch limousine in order to get a haircut. Along the way, Packer encounters a variety of characters that represent different aspects of his life and the world around him. He is pursued by an assassin, and his personal and professional lives begin to unravel as a result.
The film is a surreal exploration of modern life and the corrupting influence of wealth.
