Synopsis/Plot
Cooties is a horror comedy film released in 2015. It follows a group of elementary school teachers who must fight off an outbreak of a mysterious virus that turns children into killer zombies. The virus is spread through a tainted chicken nugget served in the school cafeteria. The teachers must work together to protect the students and themselves from the virus, while trying to figure out a way to stop it.
The film stars Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBrayer, Leigh Whannell, Nasim Pedrad, and Jorge Garcia. It was directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion, and written by Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan.
The movie starts off with a group of teachers, including Clint (Elijah Wood) and Wade (Rainn Wilson), who are starting their first day of teaching at an elementary school. They soon discover that something is very wrong with the students, as they start exhibiting strange behavior and begin to act aggressively. It soon becomes apparent that the students have been infected by a virus, which turns them into zombie-like monsters.
