Synopsis/Plot
Conspiracy Theory is a 1997 action thriller starring Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. The movie follows Jerry Fletcher (Gibson), a paranoid cab driver who believes in a wide range of conspiracy theories. He is constantly trying to warn people of the government’s hidden agenda, but no one takes him seriously.
One day, Jerry meets Alice Sutton (Roberts), a Justice Department attorney whose father was killed in a suspicious car accident. She is determined to find out what really happened and Jerry decides to help her. As they investigate further, they discover a sinister plot involving a powerful government organization and a secret mind-control program.
Jerry and Alice must race against time to uncover the truth and expose the conspiracy. Along the way, they face danger from the government agents who are trying to stop them. With the help of a few loyal allies, they must fight to stay alive and bring the truth to light.
