Synopsis – What to Expect from “City of Ghosts”
City of Ghosts is a 2002 psychological horror film directed by Matt Dillon. It follows a young couple, Sam (Matt Dillon) and Alex (James Caan), who move to an old apartment in a small New England town.
The couple soon discovers that the apartment is haunted by the ghost of a young girl named Elizabeth (Natasha Lyonne). Elizabeth is the daughter of the building’s former owner, who died in a mysterious fire years earlier. Elizabeth’s ghost is searching for her father, and she lures Sam and Alex into helping her find him.
As Sam and Alex investigate the mystery of Elizabeth’s father, they come across strange and frightening occurrences. Sam begins to experience visions of Elizabeth, and soon the couple finds out that the apartment is connected to a series of supernatural events.
