Synopsis – What to Expect from “Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV”
Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV is a 2001 American superhero comedy film directed by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz. It is the fourth installment in the Toxic Avenger series.
The movie begins with the titular hero, Toxie, living in Tromaville with his wife, Sarah, and their son, Junior. The town is now a tourist attraction due to the success of Toxie’s heroic deeds. Meanwhile, a secret government agency, the National Institute of Law Enforcement and Toxication (NILFT), is planning to take over Tromaville and turn it into a toxic waste dump.
In order to achieve their goal, NILFT unleashes a horde of mutants to terrorize the town. Toxie and his family must fight off the mutants and save the town. Along the way, they enlist the help of the mysterious superhero, The Masked Avenger.
The Masked Avenger and Toxie team up to battle NILFT’s army of mutants. They also discover that NILFT is led by a powerful mutant named Apocalypse. With help from the citizens of Tromaville, Toxie and the Masked Avenger manage to defeat Apocalypse and save the town.
In the end, Toxie and his family are reunited and the town of Tromaville is saved. The movie ends with Toxie and his family living happily ever after.
