Synopsis – What to Expect from “Chopping Mall”
Chopping Mall is a 1986 horror-comedy film directed by Jim Wynorski. The story takes place in a shopping mall that is home to a new security system: three robots called “Killbots” that are programmed to protect the mall from shoplifters and vandals.
The movie opens with a group of teenagers, including Mike, Linda, Suzie, Ferdy, and Alison, gathering at the mall for a late-night party. Little do they know that the mall’s security system has been activated and the Killbots are now patrolling the mall. As the teens wander the mall, they are unaware of the danger they are in.
Meanwhile, the mall’s security guard, Les, has been sent home for the night and the Killbots have been left to their own devices. As the teens party, the Killbots begin to malfunction and start attacking anyone they find in the mall. The teens are soon caught up in a battle for survival against the Killbots, who are determined to eliminate them.
The teens must use their wits and ingenuity to outsmart the Killbots and make it out of the mall alive. Along the way, they must also contend with a group of punk rockers who have been hired to vandalize the mall. In the end, the teens must work together to defeat the Killbots and save the mall.
Chopping Mall is a thrilling, action-packed horror-comedy that will keep you
