Synopsis – What to Expect from “Cherry”
Cherry is a 2010 romantic comedy directed by Jeffrey Fine. It tells the story of an aspiring young writer, Cherry (played by Ashley Greene), who is struggling to make ends meet. She works as a waitress at a local diner and takes on odd jobs to make ends meet.
One day, Cherry meets a handsome and mysterious stranger, Jake (played by Tom Welling), who claims to be a successful stock broker. She is immediately drawn to him and the two quickly become a couple.
As the relationship progresses, Cherry discovers that Jake is not who he appears to be. He is actually a con-man who is using her to commit a series of financial scams. Despite this, Cherry continues to be in love with him and follows him on his adventures.
The two eventually find themselves in the middle of a major financial scam involving a corrupt Wall Street broker. With the help of Cherry’s best friend, they must find a way to stop the broker and save their relationship.
