Synopsis/Plot
Chaos Walking is a science-fiction adventure film directed by Doug Liman and based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Ness. The story is set in a distant future where a virus has killed off all the women on the planet and left the men with a special ability to hear each other’s thoughts, known as the ‘Noise’. Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) is a young man who lives in a small town and is desperate to find a way to escape the oppressive regime. He discovers a mysterious girl, Viola (Daisy Ridley), who has crash-landed on the planet and is being pursued by a dangerous force. Together, they embark on an epic journey to find a way to save their world andTodd and Viola soon discover that the Noise is being used to control the population and that they are the only ones who can put a stop to it. With the help of a rag-tag group of rebels, they set out to find the source of the Noise and find a way to shut it down. Along the way, they face many dangers, including the oppressive regime, the Noise, and the mysterious force that is chasing Viola. In the end, they must use their courage and ingenuity to save the planet and restore peace.
