Synopsis – What to Expect from “Chained”
Chained is a psychological thriller that follows a cab driver named Bob (Vincent D’Onofrio) who is taken captive by a psychopathic serial killer named Rabbit (Eamon Farren). Bob is forced to watch as Rabbit brutally murders innocent people, and then is forced to help him dispose of the bodies.
Bob soon realizes that he is being held captive in Rabbit’s basement and that Rabbit intends to keep him there for a long time. Bob attempts to escape, but Rabbit is always one step ahead. As Bob’s captivity continues, he slowly begins to lose his grip on reality, and his sanity begins to unravel.
Meanwhile, the police are on the hunt for Rabbit and are closing in on him. As Bob’s captivity continues, he begins to form an odd bond with Rabbit, and he begins to understand the motivations behind his captor’s actions. As the police close in, Bob must decide whether or not he will help Rabbit escape or turn him in to the authorities.
The tension builds to a fever pitch as Bob and Rabbit make a desperate attempt to escape the clutches of the law. In the end, Bob must decide whether to help Rabbit or turn him in, and the consequences of his decision will have a lasting impact on both of their lives.
