Synopsis – What to Expect from “Caveman”
Caveman is a 1981 comedy film starring Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, Dennis Quaid, and Shelley Long.
The movie follows the misadventures of Atouk, a clumsy caveman who is constantly getting himself and his friends into trouble. Atouk is in love with the beautiful Lana, but she is already engaged to the brutish Tonda. The two men are rivals for her affections, and Atouk is determined to win her heart.
Atouk and his friends set out on a quest to find the legendary “Lost Valley”, a paradise where food is plentiful and danger is nonexistent. Along the way, they encounter a variety of strange creatures, including a giant sloth, a saber-toothed tiger, and a giant bird. They also come across a friendly tribe of cavepeople who teach them how to make fire and teach them the ways of the jungle.
However, their journey is not without danger. They must face off against a giant ape, a tribe of cannibals, and a volcano that threatens to erupt at any moment. In the end, Atouk must rely on his wits and courage to save his friends and win the heart of his beloved Lana.
