The second story, “The Ledge”, follows a wealthy businessman (Robert Hays) who is blackmailed by a mysterious figure into walking a tightrope between two skyscrapers. The third story, “General”, follows the stray cat on its journey to a mysterious house inhabited by a strange old woman (Candy Clark) who has the power to grant wishes.
The movie is filled with suspenseful moments, dark humor, and a few jump scares. The anthology format allows for a variety of different tones and themes to be explored, from the more comedic elements of the first story to the more sinister elements of the third.
