Synopsis/Plot
Casper: A Spirited Beginning is a 1997 direct-to-video prequel to the 1995 live-action/animated film Casper. The film follows the mischievous ghost Casper as he embarks on a new adventure.
The story begins with Casper’s birth as a human baby. He is born to Amelia and William Harvey, two scientists who are researching the paranormal. When a mysterious force takes Casper, his parents must find a way to save him.
Meanwhile, Casper finds himself in the clutches of Kibosh, the ruler of the Ghost Central. Kibosh wants to keep Casper from becoming a ghost, but Casper has other plans. He escapes with the help of his new friends, Stretch, Stinkie, and Fatso.
Together, the four ghosts embark on a wild adventure to find a way to make Casper a ghost and save him from Kibosh. Along the way, they must contend with Kibosh’s evil henchmen, the Ghostly Trio, who are determined to capture Casper and return him to Ghost Central.
